Yes, that’s right – 80%! Quite disheartening really when you think about all the effort that goes into creating it! Emma Weber from Lever Learning has written an awesome book called Turning Learning into Action® which looks at what needs to happen after a learning event to effect real transfer of knowledge. I had a great chat with Emma last week about her work and I think it gives some great insights into how we can improve the impact that learning has in an organistion.
