Returning to Auckland again after last year’s successful events, Charles Jennings is set to inspire and influence L&D professionals in New Zealand.
Charles will host two workshops, an exclusive dinner on Waiheke Island and a Breakfast Panel with Dr Sydney Savion, Air New Zealand’s Chief Learning Officer. Dr Savion is a thought leader and award-winning author. She has won 15 awards in 3 years, garnered 100+ articles/features in national publications and authored a critically acclaimed book.
The two workshops are each half day with Charles’ Becoming the trusted Learning Advisor held the morning of 28th May. This workshop will accelerate L&D professionals careers by providing practical guidance on new approaches to develop sustainable value by focusing on the things that matter:
- creating value by changing L&D business models
- exploiting opportunities for work-based learning
- using informal learning as a driver of high performance
- understanding why exemplary performers reach such high levels
Charles’ Capability-building for L&D and HR: The Performance Detective workshop is in the afternoon. Charles provides the opportunity to learn in depth the critical role of the Performance Detective, one of five roles any L&D professional will need to adopt deliver high performance within their company. The Performance Detective determines where training and formal learning solutions will be effective and where other options to solve performance problems will be better.
This action-oriented workshop has been designed to:
- Provide insight/encouragement for L&D professionals and HRBPs to apply the Performance Detective role in the 70:20:10 Methodology™ effectively
- Create an opportunity to learn the steps/tasks in the Performance Detective role and apply them
- Allow participants to leave with the confidence to apply some of the Performance Detective tasks immediately.
